I'm Nico Moreno, freelance web designer in Marbella
I’ve been building websites since 2020. I started out as a software developer in Málaga and, for a while, I thought that was enough to make a good website.
Then I kept running into beautiful websites that weren’t bringing anyone a single client, for the simple reason that nobody could find them. That’s when I started studying SEO.
Since then I work on both things together: I build websites people can actually find, and websites that, once they land, explain what you offer, convince them and get them to buy or get in touch. Because a website that doesn’t bring in clients isn’t doing its job.
A good part of my clients in Marbella are foreign-owned businesses, so we work in English from the first call to the handover video: quotes, meetings, the copy on the site and the training afterwards. Language isn’t the part you need to worry about.

Your customer is going to compare your website with three others before deciding anything. My job is to make yours the one that convinces them: a site that represents your business, tells them what they need in order to choose you, and does it in the right order.
Web development
I’ve built property imports from Resales Online, CRM integrations, multilingual sites and filtered catalogues. If your business needs the website to actually do something, I program it.
Ecommerce
A WooCommerce built around your catalogue, with payments, shipping and Spanish tax rules already set up. When I hand it over you start managing orders, not fighting with settings.
SEO
I find out what your customers type into Google — in Spanish, English or whichever language they buy in — and get you ranking for those searches. Not the ones with the biggest volume, the ones that bring you money.

Clear, flexible costs
You pay for hosting directly, with no commission or markup from me. If your site needs plugin licences, that’s €10 a month. And if you’d rather not deal with backups and updates, there’s optional maintenance at €40 a month, one hour of support included.
The website is yours
Domain and hosting go in your name from day one, and I hand over the passwords in writing. If you ever decide to work with someone else, you take the site with you without having to ask my permission.
My prices
They’re “from” prices because I don’t charge by number of pages, I charge for what has to be solved. And if none of the three fits what you’ve told me, I’ll say so before you hire anything.

We talk and I look at your business
You tell me what you do and who you want to sell to. I look at what that customer is searching for on Google — and in which language — and at what the businesses you compete with in Marbella have built. With that on the table we decide which pages you actually need.
I send you a quote built for your project
Price, scope and delivery date in writing: what’s in, what’s out and by when. If what you’re asking me for isn’t what I think suits you best, I say so here and explain why, even if it means a smaller quote.
I build it and you see it as it goes
I show you the site put together before I call it finished. You send me all your comments at once — that’s what we call a round of revisions — and I apply them. Nothing goes live that you haven’t seen first.
Handover, training and 30 days of support
I give you every access there is and record a video showing you how to run your site, so you can watch it whenever you need to. For the following month you ask me whatever you need by email or WhatsApp.
FAQ
Do you only work in Marbella, or in other areas too?
I work mainly with businesses across the province of Málaga: Marbella, Estepona, Benahavís, Fuengirola, Mijas, Ronda… If you’d rather meet in person, I’m an hour away by car. If not, we work by video call just as well.
Do we work in English?
Yes, start to finish. A good share of my clients on this coast are foreign-owned businesses, so English is normal here: calls, the written quote, the copy on the site and the training video. If your site also needs a Spanish version, I write it — and I’d usually recommend it, because your Spanish customers and Google’s Spanish results are both worth having.
Can you build my site in several languages?
Yes, and in Marbella it’s usually needed. I’ve built multilingual sites for estate agencies selling to buyers from northern Europe. The part that matters is the structure, so Google shows each person their own version and so you publish once instead of three times.
I run an estate agency. Can you connect the site to Resales Online?
Yes, I’ve done it several times. Properties are imported and updated automatically every day, with their photos and features, so you stop uploading them by hand in two places. Of everything I’ve built, it’s probably what saves a Costa del Sol agency the most time.
How long does it take to deliver a website?
A standard site, two to three weeks. An online store or something with custom development, four to six. The date is fixed in the quote, and if anything slips I tell you before you have to ask.
Do you work with WordPress or can you use other platforms?
WordPress is what I use on most projects. It’s flexible, you can manage it yourself without knowing how to code, and it doesn’t tie you to a monthly fee just to keep your site online. If your project calls for something else, we talk about it and I tell you what I think fits better.
What if I don't like the result?
We work on it together the whole way. I show you progress, take your feedback and adjust whatever needs adjusting. My goal is for you to be happy with it, not to invoice you and disappear. A site that doesn’t work for you doesn’t work for me either.
